MEET THE TEAM

Cindy became a member of the Emerald Bay family in 2021, working for the Emerald Bay Outdoor Academy as a naturalist. She attended UC Santa Barbara where she earned her double major in Environmental Studies and Film and Media Studies while also volunteering at an on-site aquarium. Over the years she has continued her aquarium work, volunteered at a marine mammal rescue and rehabilitation center, and worked as a naturalist, photographer, and deckhand for a whale watching company. Her hobbies include underwater photography, collecting vintage marine books, and observing animals. Her goals are to obtain her captain's license, become a divemaster, and create an underwater documentary.

Harrison joined the PMSC team in fall of 2023 after serving as a naturalist with EBOA and working as a Science and Adventure instructor with CIMI Toyon Bay. He attended Auburn University where he earned a Bachelor's in Marine Biology. Harrison has interned at the Georgia Aquarium where he was involved with creating enrichments protocols for their shark exhibit, has provided assistance in dolphin necropsies with the Alabama Marine Mammal Stranding Network and has worked closely with several universities in research projects. At the PMSC, he hopes to combine his love for animal care, education, and research with the hope to network our facility with conservation efforts both restoring local wildlife and increasing our understanding of them as well.
